What this app is
gogcli is a command-line client that runs on your own computer and talks to Google APIs on your behalf after you grant OAuth consent. It is intended for personal use by the account owner.
Data accessed
Depending on the scopes you approve, the client may access:
- Your Google account email address
- Gmail message metadata and content for reading mail
- Gmail send capability if you grant send permission
How data is used
- Data is used only to perform the actions you request in the local CLI
- OAuth tokens are stored in your local OS keyring / local config
- This site does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or user profiles
Data storage and sharing
- No mailbox contents are uploaded to this website
- No Google user data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising
- Tokens remain under your control on the machine where you authorized the app
Retention and deletion
You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account permissions. You can also remove the local authorization with the gog CLI. After revocation, the client can no longer access your Google data.
